Courage Asks

Asking for help takes courage. Likewise for admitting mistakes. As physicians, we are expected to be perfect and whole, and seeing the fault in this premise is necessary for personal growth. And personal growth is necessary to providing comprehensive, honest patient care. Achieving perfection is probably impossible, and, if we can accept this, asking for help and admitting mistakes become easier.
